Ontario Street is the name of an important north-south street bisecting Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It runs from 1st Avenue by False Creek in the north, to Kent Avenue alongside the north arm of the Fraser River in the south. It is important because it is the dividing street between Vancouver West and Vancouver East.
The route begins at the railroads near False Creek. After it intersects 2nd Avenue, the street passes through a residential district until 29th Avenue, where it borders Queen Elizabeth Park. It passes through a residential district again after 37th Avenue, until it hits 49th Avenue and Vancouver Community College. After that, it passes beside the Langara Golf Course, and after 58th Avenue, is primarily residential before crossing Marine Drive. From Marine Drive to Kent Avenue, the street passes through an industrial area.
